How often have you heard, “being a mom is hard work?” I agree! It is! My oldest, 5 years old, started Kindergarten this year. My youngest, 3 years old, gets to continue to hang out with me all day. I’m not busy where we have multiple sports activities in the evenings/weekends but we are busy. I’m the co-founder of a mom’s group that my friend and I created. We have meetups weekly. I started my VA (Virtual Assistant) business in November 2017. I’m a stay at home mom and wife.
I have LOTS of responsibilities. If I were to list them all I would probably feel overwhelmed. lol I’m sure my busy may seem like nothing to some. Everyone is different and feels different about their life. Here is a look at my schedule. It changes daily but this gives you an idea of a day in the life of Yolomommy.

Some of you may think I’m CRAZY to get up as early as I do but I’m more productive when no kids (or husband) is around. Honestly, I just want some time to be ALONE, not be needed by anyone and complete silence!! Plus I enjoy just being there for my family throughout the day. I’m not worried about deadlines or emails. I’m just there! I’ve been trying to be more in the moment. Somedays I’m good at it and others I still need to work on it. I’m blessed and enjoying every minute of my day because…Everything will be JUST fine!
If you’re a mom, what does your mom schedule look like? Are you doing a good job of being there in the moment?
