Last year my son wasn’t in school but I wanted to send something to his friends for Valentine’s Day. I LOVE doing crafts and DIY projects so these little Valentine’s cards were fun to make. I mailed to my kid’s friends because getting personal mail is AWESOME. Especially when you are a kid. (Who am I kidding. Getting personal mail as an adult is AWESOME too.)
We aren’t a big sweets eating family. My kids use to snack on Annie’s Bunny Fruit Snacks and I felt that this was one of the “healthy” fruit snacks so I let them enjoy. Annie’s has a red packaged fruit snack (Summer Strawberry). That’s what I went with for our Valentine’s treat. I made and printed out some labels/hearts. Attached them to the individual fruit snack and mailed them out. The kids helped some with the tape. I loved getting text messages & videos from our friends of their kids opening their packages and how excited they were. We made them smile! Mission accomplished!
If you’re looking for an easy Valentine’s Day card for your child’s classmates, give this a try. Now that my son is in school I’m trying to decide if we will do the same thing this year or make something else fun for his classmates. Valentine’s Day is next week so we better make up our minds soon!
What Valentine’s Day card/treat are you making for your child’s classmates this year?
Great tips! Fun idea!
Thanks Vanessa!
