Some can be carefree about their laundry room and others are like me. They NEED organization in their life wherever they can get it. I’m a little OCD. I like things in order. For example, the clothes in my closet are hung by color. I embrace my OCD because it keeps order in my life. My husband hates and loves it. He hates it because I get on him for not putting things back in the right place. He loves it because I am a great organizer so anytime he needs something organized, YoloMommy To The Rescue!! lol
We moved into our house in 2014, a few days before Thanksgiving, I was 5 months pregnant with Brynn and Bryce was 1 1/2. So I had a busy little toddler running around while trying to unpack everything. In some places, I just got things out of boxes to get rid of the box. That’s what happened in the laundry room but I couldn’t take it for a long.
The week after Thanksgiving I was on a search to find bins to organize the laundry room. I didn’t just want any bin. I wanted it to be open, I didn’t want it to be clear, I wanted it to be big enough to hold a lot and sturdy, I wanted it to be a cool color. I had a lot of requirements for something going in my laundry huh? I can’t help it. It’s how my brain works.
I went to Marshalls, Ross, and TJMaxx KNOWING that I would find something there. No luck. I checked Walmart. No luck. I hate shopping (unusual for a female I know) so this was getting frustrating. My last stop was Target and TA DA! I found these college storage totes for less than $10 each. SCORE! I organized my laundry room and was a happy camper!
How does your laundry room look?
Looks great…come organize mine!! Help!
