A friend texted me this morning and asked “How’s the new schedule?” I laughed as soon as I saw her text and replied “What schedule??!! lol”
This past week was my first week alone with the kids. My husband has gone back to work and our company has gone. Overall the week went well! We didn’t do much. We stayed home most of the week. Currently, we do not have a schedule! I use to take my son to storytime at the library, the children’s museum and playdates. We did venture out to Walmart one day and to the park another day. Nothing major.
I’m sure once my daughter is a little older I’ll start back going to the library and the children’s museum. For playdates, I’ve had a few friends come over so Bryce will have someone to play with his age. Having two little ones that are depending on you is a bit of an adjustment. I’m adjusting and enjoying having my two little ones. 🙂 I know that this time will pass by soooo fast so I have to enjoy it, right?! Even if my infant is crying at the top of her lungs and my 2 years old decides to start whining because I’m not getting him something fast enough. It’s all good! 🙂 Everything will be JUST fine!
My daughter is being a good girl! I’m breastfeeding, as I did with my son, and she wakes every 3-4 hours so I’m able to get some sleep at night before having to get up to feed her. My son would wake up every two hours and sometimes less than 2 hours. The good thing about that is that I was able to nap during the day with him. This time around no napping for me. :-/ When Bryce naps sometimes I get lucky and Brynn goes back to sleep. During that time I am cleaning or just trying to have some “me time” by catching up on Grey’s Anatomy or Scandal. Why don’t I nap??? Crazy! lol
Even though I am venting/complaining a little in this post, I LOVE being a mom! I’m blessed that I’m able to stay at home with my children. I love watching Bryce trying to take care of Brynn. I love it when Bryce YELLS “Mommy”. lol When I’m right in the next room. I love being able to see them grow day by day and watching the little milestones. As I said, I LOVE being a mom! It’s the best job ever!
So I’m going to keep working on my schedule with my two little ones. Hopefully, in a couple weeks I will have a schedule and I’ll tell you all about it. 🙂
I don’t blame you for skipping naps to watch Grey’s and Scandal!
lol Thanks Hannah!
