Moms’ Night Out

in Mommy Life on 01/29/15

Sharing is caring!

Have any of you seen the movie, Moms’ Night Out.  It’s becoming one of my favorites.  I’ve watched it twice this week.  😮  I won’t talk much about the movie for those who haven’t seen it.  Here’s a BREIF summary of what the movie is about.  It’s a Christian based movie about three moms (a stay at home mom, a friend of the stay at home mom and a preacher’s wife) who decided to have a “Moms’ Night Out”. The dads watch the kids and whatever could go wrong, did go wrong.  That’s all I’m going to tell you.  If you are particularly a stay at home mom this movie will hit home for you.  At times I feel like the main character and currently I only have one child.  How crazy will my life be when the second one comes along. :-O  🙂

First I must say, being a stay at home mom is a blessing!  Some may think that stay at home moms have the easiest job in the world.  Well that’s not the case.  We never get a day off.  We work 24/7.  We never have any privacy anymore.  (Don’t think you can go potty without someone opening the door smiling and saying “HI” lol)  We cook, clean, run errands.  We’re up late. We’re up early.  We’re up in the middle of the night if our kids need us.  We are on it! Always!!  Sometimes things can get stressful and sometimes you just wanna go somewhere and scream but you know what, I wouldn’t change it for the world. 🙂  I LOVE being a Mommy!  When you think you’re having a bad day and your cute little toddler comes over smiling and hugs you, everything just feels right.

Even though it’s a movie, it reminds me that there are other moms out there like me.  We all have stress on the job regardless of what our job may be but we have to remember to look at the good things and know that we are blessed.  🙂

Everything will be JUST fine!

i totally agree with you! One of the best movies ever! I laughed, cried and was inspired all at the same time! Definitely a movie to own!

On another note, you are one of the best mommies I know and you are so patient with Bryce! When Brynn comes it will take a little bit getting adjusted to having two but you will do a great job and Jonathan is a good hubby who helps!

    Love you & miss you!
